Description:
Offers hybrid learning opportunities to address student needs. There are three individual programs available including: Life Skills Program which provides education and training for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities and is supported by the Regional Center of the East Bay; Transition Options Program (TOPS) offers education and support to adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder who have a high school diploma and are interested in pursuing employment, higher education and/or independent living; On Track Program for adults with acquired or traumatic brain injury seeking education and support to get their lives back on track

Description
Provides comprehensive education and job training program. Students choose classes in the areas of Functional Academics, Community Independence, Independent Living Skills, Job Training and Social/Leisure Skills. Addresses the unique needs of adults with Asperger's Syndrome and related disorders transitioning to higher education and/or employment. Program provides a structured and supportive environment for students to develop social skills, increase independence, develop interests, explore resources, participate in the community, and create a social network of support. Provides re-cognitive training, memory skills development, independent living skills and career exploration to adults who have suffered an acquired brain injury. Assists individuals with ABI to relearn old skills, develop new coping skills and increase independence. Students may enroll in full day, morning, or afternoon only.

Eligibility
Adults 18+ with developmental disabilities: call for specific class information. Must be an adult with Asperger's Syndrome or related disorder for the Asperger's program. Participants do not need to be a Regional Center consumer and do not need to live within the district boundaries to be eligible for application.
Fees
$70/monthly fee; free for regional center clients
Intake Procedure
All programs require a phone interview, program tour and 3 day trial period before enrollment.
