Provides shelter and substance abuse recovery services for homeless women, homeless pregnant women and homeless woman with boys 0-12 and/or girls 0-14, homeless pregnant women and homeless women including legal and court assistance, parenting/pregnancy education/support, HIV/AIDS testing and education, job training and support, Bible studies, and AA/NA meetings on site. Homeless Shelter

Description

Provides shelter and substance abuse recovery services for women. Services include legal and court assistance, parenting/pregnancy education/support, HIV/AIDS testing and education, job training and support, bible studies, and AA and NA meetings on site. Pregnant women can stay up to a year after the birth of their child.

Hours

Office: Monday-Friday, 9am - 5pm; Front desk: 24 hours daily

Eligibility

Homeless single women, pregnant or with children. Boys age 0-12 and girls age 0-14, accepts boys over 12 and girls over 14 on a case-by-case basis.

Fees

Single woman: $450/month; Woman w/ children: $400/month for the mother and $100/month for each child; offers sliding scale according to the clients income; no one is denied based on the inability to pay.

Intake Procedure

Call for bed availability and intake interview; if full, call on a daily basis.
