Description:

Provides mediation and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) services. Trains individuals and organizations in communication skills, negotiation, mediation, conflict management, and dispute resolution system design. Partners with local community groups, schools, neighborhoods, and religious and other nonprofit organizations to promote harmony and the peaceful resolution of conflict. Mediation services are offered in small claims, unlawful detainer and civil harassment cases throughout Contra Costa County. Participation in these mediations, which are held on the day of trial in all three of the local branch courts (Pittsburg, Richmond and Martinez) is free of charge, voluntary and confidential.

Description

Provides mediation and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) services. Trains individuals and organizations in communication skills, negotiation, mediation, conflict management, and dispute resolution system design. Partners with local community groups, schools, neighborhoods, and religious and other nonprofit organizations to promote harmony and the peaceful resolution of conflict. Mediation services are offered in small claims, unlawful detainer and civil harassment cases throughout Contra Costa County.
