Offers intro to MSO excel, QuickBooks, Computer Basics (Spanish), Computer Basics (Farsi), and ESL classes (in partnership with Loma Vista). Advanced class named "Caminos" is 20 weeks long includes, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, QuickBooks, Outlook, OneDrive, and online programming, professional development, English literacy and mock-interviews. Computer basics "Beginners class" is 10 weeks long, Intermediate Computer class is 18 weeks long. All classes are virtual, until further notice. Waiting list's may be in place for computer classes. Provides job-readiness to CalWORKs recipients including resume preparation and professional development.

      Description

      Provides expanded subsidized employment (ESE) to job-ready CalWORKs recipients (including limited English proficient individuals) refugees and community members with multiple barriers for employment. Works with employers willing to hire with a county contract.
