Description

Offers dental hygiene services to the public by dental hygiene students, at a reduced rate, under the supervision of a dentist and registered dental hygienists. Services include cleaning, x-rays, fluoride treatment and disease control instruction. No screening appointment required for children, but a parent or guardian must accompany all children. Service not available in the summer.

Jan-May: Tues, 8:15am and 1pm; Wed, 8:15am and 1:30pm; Thur, 1pm and Fri, 8am; Sept-Dec: Tues, 8:30am; Wed, 8:30am and 1:30pm; Thur, 1pm

Eligibility

Ages 4+, initial evaluation and x-ray required; if paying with check, need to show CA ID. Must be willing to sit for multiple 3-hour appointments.

Fees

Vary according to service; cleaning: $20-$40, full mouth deep cleaning: $60, child cleaning: $20, sealants: $5/tooth to a max of $25, x-rays: $5-$25
