Provides different housing lists including subsidized housing, and shared housing (rooms for rent). Discussion of strategies to look for accessible and affordable housing; instructions on filling out applications for renters; training on self-advocacy skills is provided for negotiating with prospective landlords; instructions on apartment inspections is covered and checklist is provided; and budgeting finances. The workshop is open to anyone. To receive one-on-one services, individual must be a senior or disabled.
