Serves Contra Costa County homeless veterans or those who are at risk of losing their housing to either maintain or obtain housing. Provides limited financial assistance with rent, security deposit, utility assistance, and other assistance depending on available funding. Offers short term or service intensive transitional housing for both men and women. Provides eligible veteran families temporary financial assistance, outreach services, case management, and assistance in obtaining VA and other benefits which may include; health care services, daily living services, personal financial planning, transportation services, fiduciary and payee services, legal services, child care services, and housing counseling services.

Monday-Friday, 8:30am - 5pm

Required Documents

Proof of military service (i.e., DD-214)

Eligibility

Veteran who is a single person, the head of household or the spouse of the head of household; discharged under conditions other than dishonorable with at least a single day of active duty; homeless or at risk of homelessness looking to obtain/maintain permanent housing; Income less than 50% of AMI or no income. Capable of sustaining permanent housing after short-term, intensive case management and or financial assistance.
