Due to Coronavirus COVID-19, limited services by email and phone. Classes and counseling are available remotely. Prepares low-income adults for administrative careers leading to self-sufficiency through computer and life skills training, paid experience, case management, career skills, long-term follow-up, and alumni services. Program includes 12 weeks of full-time training, up to 4 months of paid on-the-job experience with personalized job placement assistance and lifetime career support and case management for alumni.

Applicants must live in Contra Costa County, be at least 18 years old, and read at a 7th grade level. Job seekers with addressable barriers to employment.

Intake Procedure

Application sessions are offered three times a year in January, May, and September. Applicants will complete an application, take a reading assessment, and attend an interview.
