Description:
Provides inpatient programs for children ages 4-12, adolescents ages 13-17 and adults 18+ focusing on crisis management and prevention for people with depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, suicidal tendencies, or other mental health issues. Commonly treated conditions for children and adolescents include; depression, stress and anxiety, bipolar disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, psychosis, severe attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), mood swings and anger, suicidal and self-harm thoughts, bullying and victimization, trauma, and grieving issues. Inpatient hospitalizations are short-term crisis stabilization, which usually last three to five days, include individual and group therapy sessions; therapeutic recreational activities such as music, dance, and art; and pastoral care. Patients learn to recognize stressors and develop healthy coping mechanisms.

Description
