Description:

Provides intensive family-centered services to adolescents and young adults showing early signs of psychosis. Clinical High Risk (CHR) program works with young people at risk for or experiencing very early symptoms of psychosis, prior to a first psychotic episode. First Episode Psychosis (FEP) program works with those who have had a first psychotic episode within the past 18 months. Services are designed to support recovery and functioning and to prevent the occurrence of an initial or subsequent episode of psychosis. Offers individual, family and group therapy, case management, multifamily groups, employment and education support, occupational therapy, peer support, substance use counseling and psychiatric management.

Eligibility

Contra Costa County resident age 12-25 for CHR program and age 16-30 for FEP program; must meet clinical criteria for services; Legal Permanent Residency in the U.S. is not required.

Fees

Accepts Medi-Cal and provides services to uninsured individuals. Does not accept Kaiser commercial insurance.

Intake Procedure

Call for a telephone screening; assessment will be scheduled.

Languages

English and Spanish; language line available for all other languages.
