Office: Monday-Friday, 9-5pm; Answering machine: 24 hours daily

Required Documents

Proof of crisis, lease, notice of delinquency and or section 8 voucher and approved inspection.

Eligibility

Applicants must be residents of Contra Costa for at least 3 months, AND either a senior (55+), temporary or permanently disabled, low to moderate income family with dependent children, who are under 18, emancipated foster youth, veteran, victim of domestic violence or violent crime or pregnant in second trimester. Applicants can apply every 5 years.

CalWORKS recipients must contact their caseworker. Client must call the hot-line and leave one voice message. Do not leave multiple messages. No money is given directly to the client. No walk-ins, must call for referral.
