Description

Provide loans to low-income homeowners to improve their homes by correcting health and safety problems and improving livability. Housing rehabilitation loans are available throughout the entire county of Contra Costa except for the cities of Concord, Antioch, Pittsburg and Walnut Creek. Some senior citizens may qualify for deferred loans and may not need to make monthly payments. Website as extensive information. Monday-Thursday, 7:30am - 5pm; Friday, 7:30am - 4pm

Proof of income and home ownership.

Eligibility

Must be the owner/occupant of a single-family home or an owner/occupied duplex (principal residence), mobile homes and have owned the home for at least six months (some restrictions apply). Must have a gross income which does not exceed the program limits. Details of income limits available online.

No application fee; interest on loans vary, call for information.
