Description:
Due to COVID-19, children must not have been exposed to an illness within the past 12 days. Only addressing emergency services such as non-functioning heaters. Assists families when there is an immediate need for a family to admit children due to a crisis or stressful situation. Minimum stay for children age 0-5 is 24 hours; maximum is 30 days. The average stay is a week to ten days. Parents are required to develop a plan of action to alleviate the crisis or stressful situation. Admission to program is through the request of a parent in stress or crisis. Provides 48 hour respite stays for children 0-5, as needed, after the crisis. Services are free to parents. Offers stress breaks which can be reserved on Thursday morning for a stress break weekend to parents.

Intake Procedure
Call to request an intake packet. Families must provide at least one emergency contact in case the child(ren) become ill during their stay. The packet includes information on how to best care for the child, visitation allowances and restrictions, and family information.

Description
Due to COVID, the Nursery is unable to have volunteers. Regular volunteer opportunities include weekly 3-hour shifts in the nursery caring for children, special event volunteers, and outreach ambassadors.

Must be at least 18 years old, have a current TB test and fingerprint/background check. Commitment of 6 month minimum is required.
