Provides shelter for Contra Costa homeless families (men and women) WITH dependent children and a Safe Parking Program to individuals, couples and families living in their vehicles. Shelter is located at various churches; locations rotate from Orinda on the west to Danville on the south to Antioch on the East/North. Shelter will open September 29, 2023, with strict guidelines to follow for Covid-19, see service for details. Description
Provides couples, families, or individuals living in their vehicles, a safe parking lot to park nightly. Program site offers restroom, light meals, and case management. Clients will have access to showers at our Oasis Day program site in Pittsburg. The Safe Parking Program runs year-round and can accommodate up to 14 cars per night.

Phone: Monday- Friday, 10am - 4pm; Saturday-Sunday, 24 hour answering machine; Parking hours: 8:30pm - 7am
Required Documents
Identification card for adults and medical cards or birth certificates for children. Vehicle registration is not a requirement.
Eligibility
Homeless living in their vehicles. Intake must be completed prior to stay.

Call the intake line for prescreening. If eligible and space is available, intake may be scheduled. Shelter will perform COVID test prior to admittance.
