Offers $100 to individuals who help/refer unvaccinated friends, neighbors and co-workers get their Covid-19 vaccine. For individuals to receive $100, the person(s) referred must live in Contra Costa County, have not been previously vaccinated for COVID-19, make an appointment using the unique website link provided after program registration, be eligible to be vaccinated (vaccines are currently approved for everyone 12 years or older) and get fully vaccinated (meaning they receive one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine or two doses of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine). Individuals referring their friends, neighbors and co-workers get paid $100 total as a check or gift card after each person referred gets fully vaccinated (meaning they receive one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine or two doses of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine); or $50 after the person referred gets their first dose (of a vaccine requiring two doses) and another $50 when they complete the second dose and are fully vaccinated. Payments will be made on a monthly basis and can be directed to individuals, organizations, businesses or charities. Those earning over $600 will need to complete a W-9 form.
